Summer Art Newsletter

Dear Friends, Family and Art Supporters,

The Summer heat usually renders me useless but this summer, despite the heat, I have lots of creative energy. First I would like to thank everyone who came out to my Open Studio event this year. It was a wonderful experience and one of my most successful years yet. The sound installation by Compartment and music by Astronout really made the whole event fantastic and rounded it out well.
Please check them out:

I have two projects that I am concentrating on now. The first one is creating my “mini” puzzles. They are wonderful little treasures that I enjoy creating. Look for them at Kaleid Gallery and at my Etsy shop. The other project is botanical sun / lumin prints. It is an enchanting process that creates a ghostly impression of the flowers or plants onto RC photo paper. I then add mica flakes to some of them to create highlights. Keep an eye out on my blog, some samples should be popping up soon.

New Etsy Store –
I have joined an online marketplace called Etsy. I am really excited about being a part of the Etsy community. It is a wonderful place for artist to sell their work. Here you will find my cards, framed prints, and small original pieces.

Please take a look at my new store:

New Time Lapse Video –

I have created another time lapse video. This one is of me creating a mini puzzle for my “Into Pieces” series. The video is about 35 seconds but the actual creation time is about 3 hours.
