8 months of planning and 50 hours of installation led up to the opening reception of Arousing Biophilia. This exhibit has been a labor of love and the opening reception exceeded all of my expectations. Despite the pouring rain and bad parking the place was full of wonderful people excited about the art and artist. The exhibition will be on view until April 22nd and Art Ark Gallery will be open from 11am-3pm the following dates: March 3rd, 9th, 10th, 23rd, 24th, 30th, 31st and April 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st For private tours on other days you can contact me directly at – email@example.com

After a really inspiring artist research residency this past June I wanted to further explore the idea of art, nature and science and also push myself to do something different and new. So after some brainstorming and talking with great artist friends I decided that I wanted to curate an art exhibition. I am really passionate about these subjects and want to share them with the world. Although I have done some curation before it never has been on this scale with something so close to my heart.Read More

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation Heroes and Hearts luncheon at AT&T Park. It’s always such a wonderful event for a great cause. I was there because I was one of the heart artists. I created a large heart titled Tree of Life that was purchased by Wells Fargo. This is the third heart I have created for the SFGHF and my hearts have raised over $150k for the foundation. I am honored to be part of such an important organization. Another cool thing was that Wells Fargo has a mural outside of the office in SF that includes a big picture of my heart.
I am happy to share that I was invited to join UGallery, an online art gallery of curated original artwork from the world's most talented emerging artists. I was recently featured on their blog introducing their new artists. You can check out that article here
Ugallery’s founder Alex Farkas shares “UGallery is shaking up the art industry. In the past, art was a black box - brick and mortar galleries tended to be intimidating and there was little price transparency. Generally, people who bought art were collectors with deep pockets. We created UGallery to flip the industry on its head and make art accessible to everyone. Our expansive online storefront features professional artists from around the world, offering clients a diverse range of art at accessible prices. Regardless of where a client is located, they can own an original piece by a professional artist.”
Visit my artist page on UGallery to see what works I have for sale. I will be adding more in the coming weeks.
