A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation Heroes and Hearts luncheon at AT&T Park. It’s always such a wonderful event for a great cause. I was there because I was one of the heart artists. I created a large heart titled Tree of Life that was purchased by Wells Fargo. This is the third heart I have created for the SFGHF and my hearts have raised over $150k for the foundation. I am honored to be part of such an important organization. Another cool thing was that Wells Fargo has a mural outside of the office in SF that includes a big picture of my heart.
I am excited to share that I will be painting another heart for the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation. This will be my third heart and I am really looking forward to creating a new design.Read More
I've been selected as a Heart Sculpture Artist for the 2016 Hearts in San Francisco Project. I am very excited to start working on it but the studio is going to be a little crowded this month. I am not allowed to share any design info or progress pictures until the official press release comes out in a few months. I can tell you that it is inspired by, and the same style as my recent encaustic series. This will be the second heart I have created for the Hearts in San Francisco project. The last one I did was in 2013, you can see more about that heart in this blog post
