We are all busy; there are always lots of things to do, people to see and places to go. That shouldn’t keep you from learning or trying something new though. To help with this I have created mini art workshops. These are shorter workshops, usually about 3 hours long and are meant to get your feet wet and give you a taste of the subject matter. I just scheduled 4 new encaustic painting workshops, two intro to encaustic, shellac burn techniques and image transfers and embedding. These workshops are a great option if you want to learn something new or try out a new medium but can’t devote a whole day or two to the process. Also, don’t think because the workshop is shorter that you will not learn as much. I promise that you will learn lots and go home with a variety of resources, information and ideas.
For more in-depth learning I offer private workshops. In those we can really dive deep, experiment and have fun. I can work with you on specific issues, techniques and more.
